Shreeji Pathological Laboratory, our sister lab, is on the same floor as the clinic. If your eye doctor asks for a blood test, you can give your sample without leaving the building.
About Shreeji Path Lab
Shreeji Pathological Laboratory has served Malad since 1980, when Mrs. Geeta Malkan opened it as a small pathology unit. It belongs to the same family as Akshar Eye Clinic and offers blood tests and other pathology tests for the whole family, not only for eye patients.
Why it helps eye patients
Some eye care depends on your general health. Your doctor may ask for routine tests before surgery, or for blood sugar tests if you have diabetes, because diabetes can affect the retina. With the lab next door, you can have the sample taken on the day of your visit.
Home sample collection
If coming in is difficult, the lab can collect your sample at home. Call or WhatsApp to book a time. A phlebotomist visits with sterile equipment, and your report is sent to you on WhatsApp or by email.
